Debate Roundup

Well, I slept on it and this is what I think.  The clear winner is US, THE AMERICAN CITIZENS.  Clearly, the questions asked, via video, were suspense driven.  Why, because we did not know WHAT was going to be asked.  We didn't.  That is why there was so much, speculation.  Hands down, the most entertaining debate I watched, from start to finish.  Because let's keep it honest, most of us watch the first 30 minutes, and then the remote comes out.  It does.  This debate, my husband sat down and WATCHED.  Now if he can watch this for 2 whole hours, you know this is the way for future debates.

Performances were overall, good.  The most improved was Barack Obama and Bill Richardson.  Obama spoke quicker, faster on his feet, and did not let the answer "get away from him", as he did in the past.  Watch the first debate, MSNBC, and the one last night, 360 degree turnaround.  Whoever is working, worked with him, CONTINUE.  Also, he looked refreshed, good looking, young and RELAXED.  Richardson, did not stumble, bumble as he had previously.  He also spoke with authority and conviction.  Especially about Darfur.  I took him off my radar, he is back on it.  This man is the DARK HORSE.

Clinton and Edwards, are the seasoned pros.  They are.  They have been through all of this before, no the game, and it shows.  Clinton looked fabulous.  Whoever is doing her makeup, KEEP THEM ON PERMANENT RETAINER.  She looked that good.  Though, heavily madeup, it took NOTHING away from her.  She looked fresh, relaxed and YOUNG.  That makeup artist took those bags from under her eyes, because she does not look like this in the senate, and she just looked great.  Whatever concealer you are using, I WANT THE BRAND.  Edwards, for me, was the most authentic.  He was passionate, on point, and precise.  This man is FAR from being out of it.  And he had the best video last night, hands downs, HAIR.  He through it back on the MSM, about his hair and questioned "what is more important".

Everyone else, well, was everyone else.  Gravel, angry as usual.  Biden, better, or best debate, thus far.  Kucinich, keeping them HONEST, especially about Iraq.  Dodd, forgettable.

Again, the winner The American Public, and YES, we need to do this AGAIN.

I had the complete opposite reaction on how they looked, especially Clinton.  I don't know if it was the intense closeups or not, but I think almost all of them looked older and more tired than in the other debates.

I do agree on the candidate videos, however, Edwards was the best.  It turned the whole haircut thing 180 degrees all through visuals.  It's too bad for him that this wasn't done months ago.

Her make-up in NH debate was better, very sharp.

Hillary: We will finally have a president who doesn't mind pulling over and asking for directions. Am I right, ladies?

Re: Debate Roundup (none / 0)

Last night and MSNBC was the best.  Made her look younger.

Re: Debate Roundup (none / 0)

Let me take the time to say this. Edward's story about the man with the cleft pallet who can't speak because he had it for 50 years

RIGHT FUCKING ON.

If this were a domestic election Obama and Edwards would have very very good chances of winning.

There is ZERO excuse that we have someone like that in our country. ZERO.

America is a family and no good family allows one of their brothers or sisters to live life like that because they're poor.

No excuse. None.

And You are FUCKIN' TRIPPIN' (none / 0)

how long have you been around, a hot second?  Where have you travelled?  Been to the poorest of poor in the south?  You think everyone has health insurance in this country?  If they did, do you think this individual will be walking around with a cleft mouth?  Get real, and take your rose colored glasses off.
